Adriana Mrnjavac is a director and writer, who also works as a casting director and talent scout for young acting talent.
She studied directing and screenwriting at Filmakademie Wien, the film department at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
Trilingual and shaped by three cultures, Adriana‘s perspective is distinctly European. Drawing from her roots in painting and electronic music, she approaches directing with a multidimensional sensibility, fueled by a passion for new formats and a constantly evolving visual language inspired by Gen Z culture.
Her stories center protagonists navigating worlds that weren't built for them: characters who are underestimated, overlooked, neurodivergent - and who refuse to disappear.
Writing and developing stories becomes a process of unraveling riddles, fueled by a deep curiosity for the psychology of her characters and the complexities of their relationships.
Beyond her work as a director, she pursues her passion for casting as a casting director and talent scout, and also manages young acting talent.
